Council met again purs[uant[ to adj. in G. B. Wallace's house

conversation on mesmerism until

Lorenzo Snow presented the case of the African race for a chance of redemption & unlock the door to them -Pres[iden]t Young explained it very concisely that the curse remains on them _bec_ Cain cut off the lives of Abel to hedge up his way & take the lead but the L[ord] has given them blackness, so as to give the children of Abel an opportunity to keep his place with his desc[endants] in the et[erna]l worlds.
