The L.D.S. Hospital accepts Negro blood to its blood bank to be given only to Negroes; but a similar policy is followed by the Holy Cross Hospital, which is Catholic owned. In fact, blood is customarily sent and received by hospitals throughout the nation labeled as "white" or "Negro," despite medical knowledge that no real distinction exists on that basis.
