Minutes of a Journey from Great Salt Lake City to San Bernardino

Thursday May 10th 1855

I in company with Bro. Geo. Cannon & wife, Elders Jos. Bull Matthew, J Walkie, my son Joseph, David Fairbanks, Henry Clark, Alfred Bennet, Robert Matthews, Charles Davis, and my negro, Dick, started for San Bernardino, we travelled 20 miles that day and put up at Bro. Geo Bankheads at Willow Creek he furnished us with supper and breakfast and his wench cooked a lot biscuits for us to take along.
