Negro Who Was a Body Servant to the Prophet Joseph Smith Dies in Idaho.

The remains of Green Flake, a colored pioneer of Salt Lake, who in his youth was a body guard of Joseph Smith were brought here yesterday from Idaho Falls for Burial. Flake was 76 years old at the time of his heath. He came to Salt Lake in 1847 and lived here until six years ago, when he went to live with his son, Abraham at Idaho Falls. His wife died here nineteen years ago, and his body was brought for burial at her side. The deceased always remained a firm believer in the Mormon faith. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
