Mr. Duncan noted . . .that liberal Protestants had long ago taken the position that these particular scriptures in Genesis had been superseded by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with its great message of redemption and love. He pointed out further that all references to the curse of Cain in Mormon scriptures were also recorded prior to the time and advent of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is detailed in "Third Nephi," Book of Mormon.
