This is to inform you that some of the Tenpenney Utes say 8 or 10 have returned to this valley & have got with them a gray poney marked or branded Y on the hip supposed to be yours. They say that the horses that was stolen from us. They heard that they were on the other side of the mountain lying south west from this place. They say if we will go after them one of them will go with us Some are for going after the horses but I have said that perhaps it would be better for the present to let them go and take care of what we have left and secure ourselves as soon as possible I thought we should loose a great deal of time and perhaps not get the horses and perhaps get into trouble but some would be better satisfied to have you say some thing on the subject for particulars inquire of the barrer brother Flirons Isaac Higee.
