Susan has also completed an MA at BYU in creative writing while also certifying to teach Chinese. Since then she has taught advanced composition and first year Chinese classes at BYU, Chinese classes at Provo High, served as the co-coordinator for Chinese immersion program for Utah elementary schools, and was series editor for Step by Step, a series of basic Chinese illustrated readers for young Mandarin learners.
