Whereas certain dignitaries in the Mormon church, indulged their propensities, and did teach and practice polygamy or Spiritual wifery; and whereas, the wife of the aforesaid Hyde, was strongly suspected as one of these spiritual wives, while her husband was gone to Jerusalem, and whereas this said wife did attempt to destroy the innocent, trying to induce them to believe in the most damnable doctrines ever promulgated, and whereas, one of these feamles whom she thus attempted to destroy, and indignantly expose to the just contempt of the public this wife of the aforesaid Orson Hyde.
