Let us be grateful for this day,
Rejoice together while we may;
Praise God for prophets as of old.
His revelations to unfold;
And holy women who have stood
The grandest tests of womanhood;
Thank Him that we may follow on.
Where many noble ones have gone.
Such gatherings as this, perchance,
Are harbingers, which in advance,
Give foretastes of immortal bliss,
Of Father's blessing. Mother's kiss.
In that fair home, to which we all
Shall one day gather, at Their call ;
And where each faithful child will find
A loving WELCOME, glad and kind.
