As a high-ranking official with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, Stephanie Smith attained a degree of professional success she had never dreamed possible. But her worldly achievements came at a cost. “Once in a while, when I was not in too much of a hurry getting to my next goal, I would take a good, hard look at myself.
