Interview of John Herrod by Agent Edwards

EDWARDS: Today is June 12 and I at 4426 Angelica Lane to speak with Mr. John Herrod regarding Leizza Adams. The time is 9:15 in the morning. Hey, how are you, sir? My name is Bob Edwards and I'm with Homeland Security Investigations out of Douglas. I was wondering if I could borrow a minute of your time real quick.

HERROD: Okay.

EDWARDS: Um, how are you?

HERROD: Good.

EDWARDS: okay.

HERROD: And I know that Bishop Mauzy, after me, confided with me, he said, "We can't do anything can we?" I said, "No, because not unless someone else reports it, then you can report that act."

EDWARDS: Okay. So it's your understanding that-and your legal counsel explained to you-that when confronted with a situation like that-uh, and, I mean, we can call it was it is, you know the sexual abuse of his children and his own hands

HERROD: Whenever- Yeah. If there's the kids, anyone else tells me, then I can, but if it comes from him then I can't.
