Teachers Meeting May 1st 1873. Bp. [illegible] & councillors. Presiding. The Ward was represented as being in general good condition. Some of the Saints appeared to be very negligent about going to meetings. And thought the Teachers were not as efficient in their duties as they might be. Referred to the death of Br. Wm. Sharis as being a faithful Latter Day Saint and Cleark of the Ward. And on motion Br. John W. P. was unian^imously sustained as Clerk of the Ward. And he was also released from acting as Teacher for the present Bros. McAllister and Brockbank endorsed the feelings of the Brethren present. On motion Samuel Chambers was appointed assistant Deacon for the Ward, under the direction of Br. Joseph Mc Murrin. The follg. Brethren were selected and appointed Teachers of the ward. Adam Frost and Ben Frost.
