Archivist Dean Jessee's paper herein [publishing the known firsthand First Vision accounts] is a subtopic of that project. . . . Unknown to some, this patient reconstruction has been underway for some time at the instance [sic] of the Church authorities. It is now beginning to be made available to interested scholars.
