Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Christensen, who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary this week, were honored at an open house Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. at their home, 836 So. 8th East.

They were married Nov. 16, 1904, in the Salt Lake Temple and lived most of their married life in Salt Lake City, except eight years in Brigham City. Mr. Christensen was a builder and contractor until his retirement. Presently he is a cabinetmaker.

Mr. Christensen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Dec. 9, 1874, a son of Axel F. and Annie Marie Christensen. He came to this country with his family when he was one year old. They settled in Brigham City.

Mrs. Edith Rushton Christensen was born April 16, 1877, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Edwin and Sarah R. Rushton, Utah pioneers. The Christensens are members of the First Ward of Park Stake. Mr. Christensen was bishop of the Twenty-sixth Ward of Pioneer Stake. Both are still active in Church work.
