Bristle Battle Rages Among Seniors

By BESSIE TAYLOR

Jim Bridger and his pals have a score of enthusiastic rivals roaming the campus with a week's accumulation of fuzz and bristles on their respective chins. Senior blondes, brunettes[,] and red heads have all entered and competition, by means fair and foul, promises to be keen.

The first whisker contest, according to the best information possessed by the Anthropology department, was sponsored in America during the Pleistocene times and was a favorite diversion of Cro-Magnon man.

The student president has discovered a large spot on his chin. The theory is you can't raise whiskers and teeth at the same time.

Rigby Jacobs has a promising Van Dyke and Howard Cottam has the best of intentions although as yet evidence is lacking.

Henry Watson, Irving Rasband, Herb Robertson, Horace Hardy, Barr Washburn, Reese Anderson, Art Hasler and others have altered appearances.
