The beard growing contest is an annual affair that brings joy to the heart of the slouchy senior, and terror to the soul of the barber. Seniors have been growing beards with all their might, with liberal use of tonics and it is whispered, dyes and bleaches–in order to qualify for the various prizes for longest, most beautiful, thickest, thinnest, and most novel beards.
