The following majority and minority reports were presented:
To the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, F. & A. M. of Utah:
We, of your Committee on Jurisprudence, to whom was referred the resolution of Brother W. I. Snyder, relative to membership in the Mormon Church, beg leave to report, recommending the adoption of the following resolution:
WHEREAS: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly called the Mormon Church, is an organization, the teachings and regulations of which are incompatible with membership in the Masonic Fraternity, therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED: That a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly called the Mormon Church, is not eligible to become a member of any Lodge F. & A. M., in this State, and membership in such Church shall be sufficient grounds for expulsion.

After a full discussion, on motion, the majority report was adopted.
To the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, F. & A. M. of Utah:
We your Committee on Jurisprudence to whom was referred that portion of the Grand Master's Address relating to a change in the Code, beg leave to recommend that section 38, of the By-laws of this Grand Lodge be amended to read as follows:
Section 38: Return of Dispensation: Each Lodge under dispensation shall return its letter of dispensation to the next Annual Communication after the date of said letter, together with its records and all other books, dimits or Certificates of Good Standing of each member, except those who have been raised therein and its petition for a charter, if desired; but no charter shall be granted to any such Lodge unless it shall have conferred the degrees of an Entered Apprentice, Fellow-Craft and Master Mason.
