The School of the Prophets met in S.L.City. Wilford Woodruff opened the school by prayer. Questions were asked by several members. The following is a synopsis of President Young's remarks; . . . [everyone] will have to be sealed to men until the chain is united from Father Adam down to the last Saint. This will be the work of the Millennium . . . Some may think what I have said concerning Adam strange, but the person will come when this people will be willing to adopt Joseph Smith as their Prophet, Seer, Revelator and God, but not the Father of their Spirits, for that was our Father Adam.
