Counsellor J D Beus was thankful to meet his b[r]e[thren], he had discerned that many delusive spirits are abroad to deceive the saints, and false doctrines are being entertained by a number, in Malad Ward the subject of whether Adam is our God or not, is causing division and bitter feeling amongst the people. What makes the non Adamites mad is this, the Adamites tell them they will be damned unless they confess Adam our God. Bp A Nichols remarked it was not always wise to correct every little idea advanced that may appear erronius, and I should not suffer in my ward one Elder to correct and chastise another Elder
