This morning I arise in the name of the Lord and with the Antient of days take a (stand?) a work to prepare For the coming of the son of Man in the flesh. The Antients have come To the Citty of Nauvoo and have taken a stand Gods will to do. They speak of their power To reinstate and to liborate the Captive That sits in the dark That sits in the dark. That sits a looking desiring the time to arrive for light and inteligance on him to rest. But the people of the Citty first must be cleansed or this noted stake of Zoin of which so much is said light and Intelligance must be the theme of the streams that put out from the fountain head This noted Citty is destined to fall with many of its leaders by the Antient of Days its fall is determined soon to take place That will cause sorrow and siing [sighing] by many that is wright But alas they have to suffer because of the fountain head But let it be purified That all may be clean that a Kingdom may be reard in honour of God as Old Father Adam in council has set with his Decendants to establish his order on the Erath His order is light and Inteligance by thespirit of God It is honour and riches It is what will boy [buoy] up And strenthen the mind that the gifts of the gospel may make crooked straight the Antients have come In Honour of God and took up their abode on Earth They first will purify and make clean at the same time make ready a foundation for a remnant of the saints As a few will be preserved a testimony to bear of a fallen people that disgraced the name of the Lord that have long said to do his will.
