The following is a statement of the late Anson Call of Bountiful: "On the occasion when Brother Joseph (Smith) was cutting wood, there came to him some brethren and I was among them. "Now regarding Adam: He came here from another planet an immortalized being and brought his wife, Eve, with him, and by eating of the fruits of this earth became subject to death and decay and he became of the earth earthly, was made mortal and subject to death."
