. . . the things of God I don’t doubt for a moment they did the best they could I take this book it satisfies me I have never been under the necessity of referring to any other book and it is out of choice to corroborate the testimony to substantiate facts but I believe in one God to us] I will try to qualify my saying that every body can understand it is written and said by the Savior referring to the Gods that there is Gods many and Lords many and they were called gods to whom the word of God came in the Old and New Testament so clearly definitely the people that understand that there may be Gods it is very definite and very certain for we can believe in the final exaltation and glorification of the children of men who serve God here for it makes them Gods even the sons of God but to us there is but one living and true God to us there is but one Savior that Savior has come in the meridian of time redeem the earth the children of men from the original sin that was committed by our first parents has restored all things through his death and suffering that each and every one of the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve can obtain life and salvation through the [Redeemer?] and exalted and the Father to his presence and the Son to his presence and dwell with him forever] this is God we have a history of and I shall refer to but very few quotations in the Bible to illustrate my faith upon his character . . .
