This morning I arise in the name of the Lord and with the Antient of Days take a stand a work to prepare for the comming of the Son of Man In the flesh The Antients have come to the Citty of Nauvoo and have taken a stand Gods will to do They speak of power to reinstate and to liborate the captive That sits in the Dark That sits a looking Desiring the time to arive for light and inteligance on him to rest But the people of the Citty first mule be clensed or this noted stake of Zion of which much is said that light and intelligance may be the theme of the streams that put out from the fountain head This noted Citty is desined to fall with many of its Leaders by the Antient of days Its fall is determined soon to be that will cause sorrow and sighing by many that is upright But alas they have to suffer because of the fountain head But let it be purified That all may be clean that a Kingdom may be reard in honour of God As Old Father Adam has on Earth too a stand in Council has set With his decendants to establish his order on the Earth His order is light and inteligance by the spirit of God It is honour and riches It is what will boy [buoy] up. And strengthen the mind that the Gifts of the Gospel may make crooked streight The Antints have come In honour of God to bring about an order that the name of the Lord will be acknowledged They first have feelings with the weak to sympethise teach them and instruct them in paths of light They then will display the power of God that will cause Sorrow and sighing in all parts of the Land that the wicked will mourn because of their Lot as scourges will rest on them because of their works But the time will come that the wise and learned Will se their folly in what they have been adoing As I am caled upon by the Council of the Antient of Days to consecrate to the Lord The temple Nauvoo house Also the house in which they sit That the foundations should stand as a living monument that God had once had a people that he communicated himself to But alas they are fallen Because of their works They have broken their Covenant because of bad works They wander in paths of gloominess both Early and late and know not of Gods work As the work of the Lord is now to commence as is spoken that long since lived They on Earth had a standing in different ages of the world They wrote their feelings should be to bring about the purposes of God They on the Earth have taken a stand the Latter day glory to usher in and took up their abode on earth They first will puryfy and make clean At the same time make ready a foundation for a remnant of the Saints as a few will be preserved a testimony to bare of a fallen people that disgrased the name of the Lord that have long said to do his will
