8. I briefly reviewed the material which had been sent me by Drs. Thorne and Howell of the Psychology Department having to do with Electrical Aversive Therapy. While they pointed out that their treatment was not the standard electrical shock treatment, and that it was generally used by licensed psychologists everywhere, I will submit their statements to Clyde Sandgren to be sure that we are protected in whatever they do.

I have today reviewed the minutes of the meeting with the vice presidents on September 22 and I have these comments to make:
Item 8: I wish you would report on this a little further at another meeting. I have real concern as to whether we should be giving these treatments at all. When you discuss this at our next meeting let's have Clyde Sandgren present.
