The first speaker was Bro Teasdale who felt happy. He thought that tithing was more important than the Word of Wisdom. We have a nation against us. They call our doctrines pernicious and will do what they can to destroy it. He thought Pork was more against the Word of Wisdom than tea and coffee. Why prevent a man from working in the Sunday School because he drinks tea? Mentioned the case of a splendid man who was exemplary in every other way but drinking tea.
